Happy Tuesday! I had seen a few of Yulia Brodskaya's papergraphic work a while back, but when I found out she did the upcoming HOW typography cover, I spent some serious time on her website, checking out all of the amazing work she's been up to. I am in complete and utter awe of what she does. This takes design to a whole new level in my opinion, so this week, TypeOh! is all about her. Happy Tuesday everyone! I subscribe to a few popular graphic design magazines, and one of them happens to be HOW. I got an e-newsletter yesterday from those lovely HOW people, encouraging their readers to check out Friends Of Type..which just so happen to be a collaboration of type awesomeness! A bunch of these I had seen numerous times before, but didn't even realize it came from them (them being Aaron Carámbula, Erik Marinovich, Jason Wong, and Dennis Payongayong). summertime songs

While working on some personal projects last night, I got the itch to listen to songs that would get me excited about summer/remind me of summertime. The weatherman said today is going to be the 13th day in a row of 90+ here in Georgia..pretty insane. I think good music always makes the extra hot weather a little more bearable - so even though these don't necessarily go together genre-wise, i love them all for making me think of summer and feel that it really is summer! (i may or may not have gotten a little carried away)
