alphadoodle

As promised, the alphadoodle of my week:

high hopes

gahh. Always setting big goals, a good quality of mine, and a torturous, sometimes hope crushing one. I feel like you learn who you are most when you are challenged by the very things you don't expect to, but wish to be challenged by. Whether or not achieved, I'm still trying; Incredibly, mind numbingly, carpel tunnel-esque-ly trying. A firm believer in karma, I'm waiting for that click to happen, when things fall together smoothly, to make my hopes rise to the occasion again. Until then, it's work, work, work. I've been reading through countless tutorials lately, trying to sharpen the toolkit I came with, continually fascinated by the graphic world changes, that will change me, how I design, and how I perceive from here on out. It's a lot of time and work, but it's what makes me happiest, so of course, I'm crankin the graphic gears away. I'm going to post my rendition of my alphabet to vectortuts in their current creative session within the next two days, so I will be posting it here, as well. Until then, It's goodnight from this side of the planet.

Happy May!

Or, Happy Cinco de Mayo, rather! Talk about timing for this mini celebration..a new post! Haha..but seriously, I really do have other news! I have some purchasable doodles up on graphic river, starting today! You can view them by clicking here, or just click on the preview of them below :) enjoy!

apologies..

sigh. I'm becoming that loser that doesn't post anymore. I don't want to be that person! And I haven't forgotten! Crazy happenings lately actually..I'm finally all moved in, spent a week with my parents, and now it's back to the grindstone in more ways than one after my mini 'vacation'..although, it hardly feels like one after all the work that went into those days. Still waiting for those sore muscles to show themselves! Anyway! I've got a lot of stuff planned for this month, so make sure you stop back soon!

finally moved!

What a crazy weekend! I just noticed it's been over a week since I last posted! arggg that kinda defeats my goal :( but, in a way, for good reason. I'm finally moved in to a much bigger, better place, where I can get my creative on and get some really good things out. I have a lot planned to get accomplished in May, and will of course, post everything on here :) My parents are coming into town this week, so another small delay in my route to new, awesome things, but they will happen! Another promise, I'm promising to keep!

doodle in showcase!

This past week one of my doodles was put in a showcase of 25 cool doodles from the web! Check it out by clicking here (#19 from the top), and don't forget to check out all of the other cool posts Rich has put together! Enjoy!!!
